The safety of our students is our first priority. The second, fun and quality education!

We may have a number of protocols in place, dependent on local guidelines, including:

• Social distancing
• Mask wearing
• Regular changes in location to let air exchange
• Sanitizing equipment and hand sanitizer ​

​We follow all recommendations by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), which bases its recommendations on the those of the CDC, as well as the ongoing research being done by CU and CSU, which is funded by multiple entities around the nation. These recommendations are supported by several other national organizations such as the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Chorus America, and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). The local school district (SVVSD) also follows this guidance for its music classes. There are many choirs around the nation that also follow these protocols and haven’t experienced a single outbreak for the entire school year, though other courses in their school have experienced a breakout.
